Client Centered Couples Therapy
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Wisconsin and Minnesota with a Masters degree in Psychology and Counseling. I enjoy working with couples, older teens and adults and specialize in working with members of the queer (LGBTQ+) community, people in non-monogamous relationships, and couples struggling with healthy boundaries, intimacy and rebuilding trust.
I am a client-centered, trauma-informed and sex positive therapist with 20 years of experience in the mental health and counseling fields. My approach is rooted in a belief that healing happens in relationship to others and that personal, interpersonal, and societal transformation are deeply connected. My practice is informed by narrative, collaborative, somatic, mindfulness based, critical, and relational therapies in order to shift how we hold pain in our bodies, our stories, and our relationships.
I have training in Somatic Experiencing, Internal Family Systems, mediation and conflict coaching. I have experience supporting people through interpersonal conflict, strengthening relationships, and developing communications skills, as well as, working with depression, anxiety, and trauma healing.
